This position will help lead the evaluation of potential strategic acquisitions and report into the Director, Corporate Development. As a member of a centralized corporate deal team, this position will have responsibility for coordinating many aspects of diligence and for maintaining communication across various functional areas involved across the life-cycle of deal activity, including strategic rationale development, opportunity sourcing and modeling and valuation.
Responsibilities:
Support assessment of potential acquisitions and strategic investments; help determine valuation for targets and quantify risks; assist in deal structuring
Manage communications between external advisors and internal business units
Coordinate due diligence activities across multiple functional areas
Evaluate profitability of possible new lines of business or entry into new markets
Prepare and deliver reports on corporate development activity to senior management
Support company-wide strategic plan reviews
Support general corporate finance initiatives and ad hoc CFO requests
To qualify, you must have:
Must have MBA from top-tier school
5+ years M-and-amp;A deal structuring work experience from either investment banking,top-tier strategy consulting firm(or similar), or corporate strategy department within Fortune 500 Corporation.
Financial services industry experience desirable
Superior written and oral communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Must have M-and-amp;A deal structuring experience ( NOT due dilgence experience) out of investment banking, strategy consulting for financial services / banking clients).
Can be from out of state.
